Nan Shui Pears typically have very distinctive features - gold-like skin, a round build and a crunchy flesh (which resembles gold inglots!). They are rich in minerals and vitamins such as potassium, fibre, vitamin C and K which aid in digestion and bowel movement, collagen production and bone maintenance.
These pears are often used in asian cooking e.g boiled asian pear and honey for cough, pear herbal tonic soup and snow fungus pear soup.
